On Monday the registration period for three new courses of the free Training Plan for unemployed people in Fuengirola opens

These are the training actions of Electricity, Cutting and Dressmaking and Office Automation

2/24/2026 – Fuengirola City Council, through the Department of Training and Job Creation, has opened the registration period for a new program of courses included in the free Training Plan aimed at unemployed people in the city who wish to improve their employability and acquire new professional skills. This was announced by the councilor for the sector, Isaac Vargas, who detailed that the training offer includes the following initiatives: Electricity (150 hours); Cutting and Sewing (150 hours); and Office automation (20 hours).

These training actions will take place at the Los Boliches Mayor’s Office and at the Dulcinea Street Workshop, and will have limited places. Applications may be submitted from March 2 to 13, 2026.

Electricity

The Electricity course, with a duration of 150 hours, offers solid training in the principles and applications of electricity, combining theoretical content with practices oriented to the workplace. It will be taught from April 6 to May 18, 2026, at the Dulcinea Street Workshop (Classroom 1), from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Cutting and Sewing

For its part, the Cutting and Sewing course, also of 150 hours, will provide practical and complete training in the fundamental techniques of the textile sector. Students will learn to operate sewing machinery, interpret patterns and make adjustments to create quality garments, both for personal use and with professional guidance. It will take place from April 27 to June 8, 2026, in the Los Boliches Mayor’s Office (Classroom 5, first floor), from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Office automation

Likewise, a 20-hour Office Automation course will be taught, focused on improving the use of basic technological resources, such as internet browsing and the management of office applications at the user level. It will take place from April 27 to 30, 2026, in the Los Boliches Mayor’s Office (Classroom 1), from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
