1/28/2026 – The Peace Palace in Fuengirola will be the scene on January 31 and February 1 of the IV national Warhammer tournament ‘Espeto Wars’, a national reference event that will bring together nearly 200 participants from different parts of the country and even abroad. The initiative is organized by the Freak Factory association, in collaboration with the Youth Department of the Fuengirola City Council.

The Youth Councilor, Isaac Vargas, together with Francisco Cortés Claros, member of the aforementioned association, have presented this new edition of the tournament, which once again positions Fuengirola as a meeting point for alternative leisure and strategy games.
“We are very pleased to be able to host this event again, considered one of the most important in Spain within the field of Warhammer, and which will bring numerous participants to our city, many of them accompanied by their families,” said Vargas.
The mayor highlighted that “‘Espeto Wars’ represents another commitment by the Youth area to offer varied and quality leisure alternatives for young people. In this edition we have surpassed the participation record, with more than 190 participants, and for the first time we are going to have players from other countries.”
For his part, Francisco Cortés Claros explained that the tournament will be held in competitive mode, with five rounds for teams of four players.
The IV ‘Espeto Wars’ will be held throughout the weekend at the Peace Palace, with free admission until capacity is reached.
