Their Majesties will arrive by helicopter at the Elola Complex at 5:30 p.m. and the departure of the royal procession will take place at 6:00 p.m.
The Fuengirola City Council has decided to modify the planned schedule of the Three Kings Parade after consulting with the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) and given the high probability of rain during the start of the parade.
In this way, the arrival by helicopter of Their Majesties the Three Wise Men of the East to the Elola Social and Sports Complex is delayed to 5:30 p.m., while the departure of the royal procession will take place at 6:00 p.m., with the aim of guaranteeing, as far as possible, the correct development of the event and the safety of participants and the attending public.
The Royal Comitence, one of the largest in Andalusia, is made up this year of 25 floats, 15 parades, brass bands, the San Lorenzo Mártir musical group and the participation of more than 500 children, as well as 155 workers and 150 volunteers, in addition to the Local Police and National Police officers who will ensure security throughout the journey. During the journey, more than 30,000 kilos of candy will be distributed, all of them gluten-free. Some with and some without sugar.
The route of the Parade will be as follows: Mallorca street, Mijas avenue, Hermanos Pinzón street, Condes de San Isidro avenue, Ramón y Cajal avenue and Los Boliches.
The City Council asks citizens for their understanding in the face of these changes caused by meteorological causes and requests attention to upcoming information that may be produced based on the evolution of the weather.
