More than 4,500 maintenance actions
Throughout the year, the maintenance janitors have carried out 3,620 daily small maintenance actions in the local CEIP, covering masonry, painting, plumbing, electricity, locksmithing, carpentry, roof and gutter cleaning, among others.
When the interventions have required greater specialization, the municipal Operational Services, through GECOR, have carried out 904 additional actions, thus reinforcing the conservation of educational facilities.
In addition, specific works have been carried out such as pruning and maintenance of green areas, painting of the CEIP Acapulco and El Tejar through the Employment Plan, replacement of windows and blinds, preventive treatment against legionella, disinfestation and deratization, review of fire extinguishers and fire systems, as well as the installation of new alarm and video surveillance systems.
In the area of cleaning, the comprehensive service began on August 18, and was completed in September with the washing of the centers and the deep cleaning of the entrances to schools and institutes.
