The Fuengirola City Council encourages shopping in local businesses with the raffle of a Christmas basket valued at 500 euros
The campaign ‘This Christmas your purchases in Fuengirola have a prize’, which will be active from November 28 to December 21, aims to boost the local economic fabric and employment. To participate you just have to make purchases in any business in the city, upload the tickets to the ‘Fuengirola Más Viva’ app and, for every 20 euros, you will get one entry in the raffle.
11/24/2025 – Fuengirola City Council encourages shopping in all local businesses with the raffle for a Christmas basket valued at 500 euros. This was announced by the Councilor for Commerce, Francisco Javier García Lara, who explained that this action is part of the campaign ‘This Christmas your purchases in Fuengirola have a prize’, which will run from November 28 to December 21. Its objective is for both residents and visitors to purchase their products in establishments in the city to boost the local economic fabric and, in turn, employment.
«From the Commerce Area of the City Council we want to show our support for local commerce by presenting one of our most traditional campaigns such as ‘This Christmas your purchases in Fuengirola have a prize,’ García Lara highlighted, pointing out that “in this case, the campaign has a very simple dynamic: any purchase made in any of the establishments in our municipality, regardless of the amount, is valid to participate in a draw that we will hold on December 22.”
Thus, when a customer makes a purchase in any business or hospitality establishment in Fuengirola, between November 28 and December 21, they must upload the ticket to the ‘Fuengirola Más Viva’ application and for every 20 euros of purchase they will have a participation in the draw. “Participations can be accumulated, so that those who make the most purchases in the city’s shops will have more options to choose from,” he indicated.
On this occasion the prize will consist of a Christmas basket valued at 500 euros. “The basket includes typical Christmas products such as an Iberian bait ham, red and white wines, cava, a piece of Manchego cheese and another of organic goat cheese, as well as gourmet products (sausages, pâtés, preserves and typical Christmas sweets).”
The period to participate will be open from November 28 to December 21, the draw will be held on the 22nd and the prize delivery will be on December 23rd.
“Our goal is to always be on the side of local businesses. We want to encourage our neighbors, and those who visit us at Christmas, to make their purchases in the establishments in Fuengirola. Each purchase is an opportunity to win the prize. Therefore, we encourage everyone to buy in our local businesses,” García Lara concluded.
