11/7/2025 – The network of municipal public libraries of Fuengirola has designed a complete program of activities for this month of November that includes meetings with writers and book presentations, among others. Registration can be done in person at the libraries or online through the website: https://www.bibliotecaspublicas.es/fuengirola.
“There are many activities that we have in the libraries throughout this month. Without going any further, last Thursday we had a meeting with the author Antonio Altarriba, the screenwriter par excellence of the ninth art, and today, Friday, we have Natalia Velarde, a truly groundbreaking, complex and very different author from the usual. And many authors who may be very interesting will visit us throughout this month,” said Romero.

Thus, as the councilor has continued to detail, “the first of the authors who will visit us will be Rafael Maldonado, who will be at the Gloria Fuertes library in Los Boliches on Monday the 10th at 7:00 p.m. to present his book ‘Barbara Gunz’. Additionally, on Wednesday the 12th, Guadalupe Eichelbaum will present her book ‘All the Deaths of Emily Winter’ at the Gloria Fuertes library also at 7:00 p.m.
The activities will continue on Tuesday, November 18, with a storyteller by Raquel López, who will offer a session aimed at family audiences at 5:30 p.m. at the Gloria Fuertes library, and another for adult audiences that will be held at the Cervantes library at 7:00 p.m.
“We are also going to have a meeting with the author Laura Pérez Naharro, for an adult audience, at the Lope de Vega library on Wednesday, November 26 at seven in the afternoon, to present her book ‘The three-plate method’,” Romero indicated.
The programming will continue on Thursday the 27th, at 7:00 p.m., with the visit of the writer and screenwriter Belén Gopegui to the Cervantes library, while on Friday the 28th one of the highlights of the program will arrive with the visit of Santiago Posteguillo to the Cervantes library. “One of the quintessential authors of historical novels in Spain, who is going to present his new book ‘The Three Worlds’. He has a lot of experience dealing with the public, he is very entertaining and his fans number in the thousands. He is a true legend of literature and we are going to have him on Friday the 28th at the Miguel de Cervantes library.”
