11/7/2025 – The Manuel Delgado Perea Culture House in Fuengirola will be the scene next Thursday, November 13, of a flamenco harp concert by the Jerez artist Ana Crismán. This was recalled today by the Councilor for Culture, Rodrigo Romero, who pointed out that tickets are priced at 5 euros and are for sale online at https://entradas.fuengirola.es and in person at the information point of the Miramar Shopping Center, from Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and before the concert at the House of Culture.
“On November 13 we are going to have a truly unique show at the House of Culture. It is going to be something extraordinary and very worthwhile, because we are talking about Ana Crismán, the best flamenco harpist that exists. She masters the beat and has very skilled hands that capture that very difficult and beautiful instrument that is the harp in a flamenco style, giving rise to very beautiful and very sophisticated music,” Romero highlighted.
Ana Crismán
Born in Jerez de la Frontera, lover of flamenco since her childhood. His childhood and life took place in flamenco territory, where singing and compás have been the soundtracks of his life. On a trip through Ireland he finds an artist playing the harp in the street and falls in love with the instrument.
In the most absolute solitude, he exercised his fingers on the strings of the harp. Fingers that didn’t know where to move, or what positions to adopt. A huge headstock full of keys with a million possible combinations… Ana made a radical change in her life to completely dedicate herself to the harp as a revelation instrument in flamenco.
Listening to this muse live is witnessing art at its finest. The harp, with the technical difficulty it presents, surrenders to the mastery of this brilliant self-taught harpist.
Ana Crismán is the creator of the first Arpa Flamenca album in the history of music and flamenco: “Arpaora” in which the harp is the absolute protagonist. The name is a fusion of “arpa” and “cantaora”, and the album explores the sound of the harp in various flamenco styles through its own compositions.
