The Fuengirola City Council promotes a Christmas School to help families reconcile their work life

10/30/2025 – Fuengirola City Council has promoted a Christmas School to help residents reconcile their work and family lives. This was announced today by the Councilor for Education, Carmen Díaz, together with the co-directors of the organizing company Vaiana Espacio Infantil y Familiar, Ana Calzado and Paula Carrión, who explained that this activity will take place from December 22 to January 5 in the Mayor’s Office of El Boquetillo and will be aimed at children from 3 to 12 years old.
“The countdown to Christmas begins and these are times when families need to know what we can do with our children during the holidays. To do this, together with Vaiana, which is the winning company of the contest, we have prepared a camp that will take place from December 22 to January 5 at the Mayor’s Office of El Boquetillo, so that the little ones can enjoy and learn through play, with the aim that families can reconcile their work life,” Díaz explained.
In this sense, the Councilor for Education has indicated that “in addition to the camp itself, we also offer the possibility of a morning classroom for those families who need to leave their children with more time. It is important that families know that these activities, both the Christmas School and the Morning Class, will not go ahead if there is not a minimum number of children registered.”
Regarding prices, Díaz has pointed out that “for those registered in Fuengirola, the Christmas School will cost 80 euros and for those not registered in Fuengirola, 120 euros. “It is important that people who want their children to participate in this camp reserve their place from today until December 1. The little ones will be in the best hands with an educational and recreational project supported by the Fuengirola City Council,” said the mayor.
The co-director of Moana, Ana Calzado, explained that “the common thread of the project is going to be an elf, Nuba the explorer, and the little ones through the magic of Christmas will discover different curiosities with her. The most important thing for us is motivation, that the children come eagerly.”
For her part, Paula Carrión concluded that “it is a project for children from 3 to 12 years old and on this occasion places are limited, so we encourage those interested to register quickly before places are sold out.”
