City Council and Federation of Peñas will decorate the booths and distribute bracelets with the flag of Spain to commemorate Hispanidad

On October 12, all the facades of the Fairgrounds will be decorated with red and yellow colors and will offer typical dishes of the national gastronomy on their menus.

10/9/2025 – Fuengirola City Council, in collaboration with the Federation of Peñas, has organized various actions to commemorate Hispanic Heritage Day on October 12, coinciding with the last day of the Rosario Fair.

During that day, all the booths at the Fairgrounds will display a Spanish flag on their facades. In addition, 4,000 bracelets with the national colors will be distributed among attendees. These bracelets, which will have the logos of the City Council and the Federation of Peñas printed on them, will be distributed free of charge as a symbolic souvenir of the celebration.

The festive day will also include a special gastronomic offer. All booths will incorporate typical dishes from Andalusian and Spanish cuisine into their menus, to highlight the national culinary tradition within the festive atmosphere of the fair.

With this proposal, Fuengirola joins the commemoration of October 12 from a festive, integrative and cultural perspective, inviting neighbors and visitors to enjoy a day marked by pride and recognition of common roots.
