The bullring will host the manageability test of the XLVII hook exhibition of ‘Fuengirola on horseback’
This day will take place from 12:00 hours in the Plaza de la Constitución, the surroundings of the Plaza Reyes Católicos and Avenida Condes de San Isidro. There will be equestrian shows, clothing and attachment contest, Amazonas Paseo, in addition to the aforementioned hook exhibition and the II Tradition International Competition of MEMORY IN MEMORY OF JOSÉ LUIS MARTÍN LORCA
9/16/2025 – The eighth edition of Fuengirola ‘on horseback’ will be held this Saturday, September 20, in different scenarios of the city center, among which this year as novelty the bullring is included, which will house the manageability test of the XLVII Hook exhibition. This day will take place from 12:00 to 22:00 hours and will include in its programming equestrian shows, clothing and attachment contest, Amazon Paseo, in addition to the aforementioned XLVII Hook exhibition and the II International Competition of Tradition Enhancement of Tradition in Memory of José Luis Martín Lorca. This was recalled by the Councilor for Fiestas, Isabel Moreno.
“This next Saturday, September 12, it will take place from twelve in the morning until ten o’clock at night on horseback, a date dedicated to the equine world that this year presents as the main novelty the use of the bullring to host, from two in the afternoon, the manageability test of the hook contest, which this year will have an international character,” said Isabel Moreno.
In this sense, the mayor recalled that, in addition to the Plaza de Toros, Fuengirola on horseback “will take place in different scenarios in the center of the city, such as the Plaza de la Constitución, which will host the different equestrian exhibitions in charge of the Dana and Ranchito Equestrian Centers; as well as the Plaza Reyes Católicos, where the musical performances of groups and local artists such as Ana Serrano and Hugo Dogma, Maria Serrano, auction, extraper it, Fran Alba and Jesús Cortés. ”
The mayor has invited “to all the people to come this Saturday to Fuengirola on horseback, that riders and Amazonas attend perfectly dressed, as well as the hooks that wish. There are all the necessary elements to enjoy a pleasant day around the equine world.”
