9/15/2025 – The City of Fuengirola encourages the athletes of the city who compete individually or in pairs in national and international competitions, to request the subsidies of the Provincial Council of Malaga in that matter. This was stated by the provincial deputy and councilor in the Fuengiroleño Consistory, Francisco José Martín, who explained that the supramunicipal entity has opened a line of aid worth 220,000 euros that will be active until September 25.
“Today we announce a new line of subsidies to the Malaga sport directed on this occasion to athletes who compete individually or as a couple,” Martín explained, noting that “the objective of these aid is to promote participation in national or international competitions. On other occasions there have been many athletes who have benefited from this line of subsidies that the Diputación starts.”
The deadline for submitting applications will be open until September 25. The economic amount per person or as a couple that requests the aid will be a maximum of 25,000 euros. This line of subsidies covers the preparation and participation expenses in national and international competitions; The formalization expenses of sports licenses, registration in these competitions, accommodation at the scene of the competition and sports material, among other concepts.
