Fuengirola City Council intensifies cleaning work in the environment of educational centers for the start of the course
Today a special cleaning plan has begun in the vicinity of the Sohail school and in the next few days it will be extended to the rest of the city’s schools and institutes. This action complements the cleaning tasks that throughout the summer are being developed in schools
9/2025 – The City of Fuengirola has intensified cleaning work in the environment of the city’s educational centers for the start of the school year. This has been announced by the councilor of the Branch, Carmen Díaz, in the immediate vicinity of the Sohail School, where these tasks have started today so that both schools and the adjacent streets and spaces offer their best image when next week the students return to the classrooms to start the new school season.
“We are in the immediate vicinity of the Sohail College, because just today we have started a special cleaning plan of the contour of all the schools and institutes of Fuengirola. We have 13 schools and 6 institutes and in each and every one of them, in the next few days, the album will be applied in all the entrance areas,” explained Díaz, pointing out that “this is the final complement to the cleaning tasks that we have been doing throughout the summer in the centers educational.
In this sense, the mayor has pointed out that the tasks “have started today in the contour of the Sohail school. We will soon go to the María Auxiliadora school and successively we will review the vicinity of all the schools and institutes of Fuengirola.” Carmen Díaz has highlighted the effectiveness of disk cleaning that is being carried out “because it is a more intensive job that makes the pavement stay clean for a longer time.”
Before concluding, Díaz has requested citizen collaboration when it comes to keeping the city clean, “because despite these intensive cleaning tasks, if the citizens and visitors of Fuengirola do not collaborate, immediately it gets dirty again. From here I make a call so that we are always careful, but especially in the areas that surround schools, because they are areas that every day transit many children The centers are in the best possible state. ”
