10/28/2025 – The Manuel Delgado Perea Culture House in Fuengirola will be the venue on November 13 for a flamenco harp concert by Ana Crismán. This was announced today by the Councilor for Culture, Rodrigo Romero, who pointed out that tickets are priced at 5 euros and are for sale online at https://entradas.fuengirola.es and in person at the information point of the Miramar Shopping Center, from Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and before the concert at the House of Culture.
“On November 13 we have a fantastic concert at the Casa de la Cultura due to the quality of the performer and also because of the difference, because of what she will bring us as a novelty. It is about Ana Crismán, a flamenco fan from Jerez who, at a given moment, fell in love with an instrument that is not at all flamenco like the harp and is, therefore, the first flamenco harp artist,” Romero highlighted, pointing out that “he manages to interpret flamenco with a beauty and sophistication completely different from what we are used to.”
Ana Crismán
Born in Jerez de la Frontera, lover of flamenco since her childhood. His childhood and life took place in flamenco territory, where singing and compás have been the soundtracks of his life. On a trip through Ireland he finds an artist playing the harp in the street and falls in love with the instrument.
In the most absolute solitude, he exercised his fingers on the strings of the harp. Fingers that didn’t know where to move, or what positions to adopt. A huge headstock full of keys with a million possible combinations… Ana made a radical change in her life to completely dedicate herself to the harp as a revelation instrument in flamenco.
Listening to this muse live is witnessing art at its finest. The harp, with the technical difficulty it presents, surrenders to the mastery of this brilliant self-taught harpist.
Ana Crismán is the creator of the first Arpa Flamenca album in the history of music and flamenco: “Arpaora” in which the harp is the absolute protagonist. The name is a fusion of “arpa” and “cantaora”, and the album explores the sound of the harp in various flamenco styles through its own compositions.
