In July, Fuengirola City Council offers a varied cultural agenda with a dozen activities for the whole family
Jazz on the roof, concerts in the Parque de España, archaeological workshops and exhibitions make up the summer cultural program
6/29/2026 – Fuengirola City Council has prepared a wide and diverse cultural program for this month of July, with a dozen proposals for all audiences that combine music, exhibitions, dance and informative activities. This was announced this morning by the Councilor for Culture, Rodrigo Romero.
Among the most notable activities are the ‘Jazz Nights on the Rooftop’, which will have its last date on July 2, with the performance of ‘Alma Micic & CYC Trío’ at 9:00 p.m., with admission for 5 euros, available at ventas.fuengirola.es and at the CC Miramar information point.
The exhibitions will also take center stage in July with three proposals: the painting exhibition ‘Open your mind’, by Wolfgang Durán, which will be open at the House of Culture until July 10; the ‘Olympic Legends’ exhibition, promoted by the Department of Sports, which can be visited from July 17 to August 26 at the City Museum; and the photographic exhibition ‘Guadalquivires’ by Mercedes Higuero, Paco Negre and Nuria Murillo, which will be open to the public from July 17 to August 28 at the House of Culture.
Classical music will also have a starring role with the concert of the prestigious Kammer Philharmonie of Cologne, which will perform works by great composers on July 10 at 8:00 p.m. at the Manuel Delgado Perea Culture House.
The Fuengirola Municipal Music Band will offer three free concerts in the Parque de España, with varied repertoires, which will begin at 9:30 p.m.: July 7 will be dedicated to Spanish Music; On July 21 he will perform a monographic concert of works by Ferrer Ferrán; and finally, July 28 will be dedicated to military marches.
The performances in the Parque de España will also include the concert ‘Del Bolero a la Copla’, by Hugo Dogma and Ana Serrano, on the 9th at 9:00 p.m.; the performance of Mariachis Costa del Sol on the 23rd at 9:00 p.m.; the performance of the Municipal Dance Group, on the 30th at 9:00 p.m.
In addition, the Summer Archeology Workshop will be held, aimed at boys and girls from 6 to 14 years old, which will take place at the Finca del Secretary Archaeological Site from June 30 to July 3, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This activity is free and requires prior registration via email merniarestauracion@gmail.comindicating in the subject “Summer Workshop”.
With this programming, which is added to the Marenostrum Fuengirola concerts, the City Council reaffirms its commitment to accessible, diverse culture for all audiences, turning the city into a cultural reference on the Costa del Sol during the summer.
